We take pride in sourcing local ingredients — concentrating on sustainability — to produce a menu of mouth-watering dishes. Using the same techniques as our sister restaurants; The Coal Shed & Burnt Orange we cook the freshest shellfish and meat over charcoal, ensuring a dining experience to remember.
The same seasonality and innovation that is applied to the menu finds its way into the cocktails, with a selection of drinks changing through the year and with a hint of earthy herbs and sea spices sprinkled throughout.

Christmas at The Salt Room is a celebration framed by sea views, sparkling glasses, and dishes that feel indulgent yet effortless. Sundays at The Salt Room
The Salt Room new ‘Reef & Beef’ throws tradition out and brings bold flavour in. Think 45-day dry-aged sirloin, flame-grilled to perfection, served with South Coast prawns in garlic butter. Add crisp garlic potatoes, sugar snap peas and a rich Béarnaise — it’s everything you didn’t know your Sunday needed.

The Salt Room is a modern British seafood restaurant that celebrates cooking over coal. Our seaside restaurant is the best restaurant in Brighton to enjoy sustainable, local produce. Drawing on traditional methods of cooking over charcoal, The Salt Room uses a Josper oven to grill fish, seafood and meat dishes.
On offer is a seasonal a la carte menu and an innovative cocktail and wine list can also be enjoyed in our bar and with your meal.
