Celebrating 10 years of The Salt Room

“In February 2015, I set out on my second venture in Brighton. Following the incredible feedback I saw from locals after launching The Coal Shed four years earlier, I wanted to use all of the knowledge we had picked up cooking over fire and turn that towards the ocean, creating a restaurant which brought together exceptional, locally sourced seafood with rustic cooking over coals.  

Now, 10 years later, The Salt Room is still going strong, backed by a great reputation and loyal customers who help fill our tables night after night. I couldn’t be more grateful of the incredible team that helped build this restaurant into what it is today, and for all of you who have made memories with us along the way.  

We’re not ones to rest on our laurels and, for our 10th anniversary year, we’re going to be bringing fresh talent into our team to breathe new life into this beautiful restaurant of ours. We’ve got some huge plans which we’re excited to reveal over the next few months to help us celebrate the last 10 years and reinvent ourselves for the next 10.”
